Historic Moment for club as U15 hurlers win the Carrigaline Court Hotel Premier 2 County Final
Bride Rovers 3-10 St Finbarrs 1-9
Our hurlers finished a very strong campaign with a win over St Finbarrs in the Carrigaline court Hotel Premier 2 U15 hurling final at Delaneys last Saturday. It was an outstanding performance by both teams however we were the stronger on the day. Brian opened the scoring with a point but Barrs replied with a free. Griffin was next to score a point and Conleith pointed a free after Conor was fouled. Barrs scored a point before Brian scored his first goal after some great work from Seamus, Jordan and John. Brian and Kieran both scored points to give us a comfortable lead before Barrs attacked again scoring 1-2 before the break. While Cian sent a pass to Brian who scored his second goal of the game giving us a lead of 2-5 to 1-4 at the break.
Barrs scored a point as the second half started and Conleith scored a free before Barrs put our backline under a lot of pressure scoring 3 points. Patrick and Eoin were solid at the back making some great runs up the field while Ben in goal was finding his target with his puck outs. Conleith scored another free and Shaun made a great pass to Brian for a point putting 3 points between the teams again. Ruairi, Peter and Matthew were chasing everything as Barrs scored their last point of the game. Brian finished off the game as he started scoring 2 points before the final whistle was sounded. There was great celebrations as this is a huge achievement for the club and this group of lads. Conleith the captain accepted the cup and made a great speech. Well done to the trainers Pat, Alan, Joe, Martin and James.

Under 11 Football League Final
Bride Rovers 4 -11 Bishopstown 5 - 4
We travelled to Bishopstown to contest the U11 football league final last Saturday, from the outset you could see this was going to be a tough contest. We got on the scoreboard very quickly with a point from Denis and goal from Adam, but Bishopstown came storming back at us scoring 1-2  before we got a further 3 points, 1 from Louie and 2 from Adam. Bishopstown got another goal and point but we finished the first half with Adam scoring another 2 points and 1 each from Denis, Nicky and Cillian Tobin. Half Time score was Rovers 1-9 Bishopstown 2-3 giving rovers a 3 point lead.
On resumption of the second half Bishopstown came at us with all guns blazing as they scored 2 very quick goals leaving us trailing by 3points but our boys got back into the game and worked the ball up the feild and into the back of the net. Cillian Tobin pointed and Adam a goal giving us the lead however this was short lived as Bishopstown got a goal and a point in quick succession. At this stage our lads had to dig deep and we had the final say with Cillian Tobin getting a goal and Cillian barry a point. We would like to wish Adam Hayes a quick recovery.
