Well done to our Junior A hurlers who beat Carrig na bhFeár after extra time after a epic semi final encounter in Castlelyons today.
The game finished on a scoreline of 1.26 to 1.24.
The Rovers now face Killeagh in the final, likely in a fortnight's time.
Hard luck to our ladies footballers who lost out to Inch Rovers yesterday in the Intermediate county final, our Junior B hurlers who lost out to Castlelyons in the East Cork semi final yesterday, and to our minors who lost out to Youghal in another epic extra-time game last Thursday night. This replayed East Cork Div 1 final ended in a three point loss.
As well as the above Junior A final, it is great to see many of our adult and minor teams reaching the latter stages in their respective competitions. Well done to the players and their families, as well as team managements for their commitment.
