Bride Rovers will open their first Premier Senior Hurling Championship campaign (since the introduction of the 12 team-format) against Newcestown this Saturday Aug 1st at 7.00pm in Ballincollig.

Context
Bride Rovers last played Newcestown this time last year in the SHL Div 3 final, where we were victorious, albeit after extra-time. Our last competitive game was a great performance against Erins Own  last month in the SHL Div 2 and all Rovers followers hope that this form and efficiency can be replicated in championship. However, the group of hurlers from the west will be full of confidence, having overcome Nemo Rangers in their senior football opener just last weekend.

It promises to be an epic encounter, with Midleton and St. Finbarr's as the other two teams in the group.

Parking Arrangements
Ballincollig GAA wish to remind attendees that there is very limited parking at Ballincollig GAA pitch for Saturday’s match. This will primarily be used to accommodate those with mobility needs. If you have a family member with mobility needs, contact Michael Carey at 087 9808973.

Given the large crowd expected, the club have received permission for patrons to park in McDonald’s (P31 FX65). This is a five minute walk to the pitch, and there are 50 car parking spaces there. This will allow for ease of leaving the grounds and village afterwards also.

Stewards will also be available to best support parking at P31 XN96 - Ballincollig Primary Care Centre, next to McDonald's.

As always, patrons are asked to arrive early and obey direction of match-day stewards.
