One would assume that surely Terry Broderick would be getting a little tired by now as he took on day 4 of his 5 x 70.3 challenge,  but no ! Infact each day his run leg has gotten faster 🤣🤣

Tomorrow will be his final day , so we would love for Everyone to get involved!

You dont have to be as crazy as Terry and do it all 🤣 you can do a little dip in the Rez , or prehaps 1 of the 30k cycle loops , or meet him in colmans for a little bit of the run 🏃🏽‍♂️  but if that side of things just isn't for you , well then coming along to offer a cheer & to bring some cakes,  sweets & a can of coke would go along way.

REZ 8AM

COLMANS PITCHES 1.30 ISH
I think at some point in our lives we have all been touched by cancer , so Terry is doing this for all of us & in memory of his late dad pat 🥰

Terry has outlined the dates and routes for his 5 Ironman races

Overview
Bride Rovers stalwart Terry Broderick is taking on 5 70.3 Ironman races in 5 days this June to honor his dad, Pat Broderick, and to thank the amazing teams at Mercy Hospital Foundation, Marymount Hospice, and the Irish Cancer Society for their support during his dad’s cancer journey.

The feat comprises of completing the following each day over 5 days
  • a 1.2-mile (1.9 km) swim,
  • a 56-mile (90 km) bike ride, and
  • a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) run.
Routes, Dates and Timelines
Terry has outlined the detail below

'Hi all it’s only a few days away to my charity challenge of 5x70.3 in 5 days.

'A few people have been onto me about details so I will try to outline my plan.

Starting Tuesday 2nd of June until June 6th.

All swims will start in Knockananig Resavoir at 8am.

Drive to Rathcormac community field as my base. Behind the church.

Hopefully start all cycles by 9:15/9:30.

Routes will be out and back to Cahir, to Youghal, ThveVee. Obviously we will repeat two of the above cycles.

Back to Rathcormac by 1ish and then off on the run. Rathcormac to Fermoy, 6 laps of St Colmans ( around 2 o clock) and back to Rathcormac. Should be back around 3ish.

All of the above are rough times. If anyone wants to join me in a swim, bike or run, you are more than welcome.

Please contact me on 087 779 3841 if interested. On the final day (Saturday 6th), my base will be Bride Rovers GAA field'.

Thank you'
