It's that time of year again, the East Cork Scór Sinsir competition is taking place in Lisgoold on Sunday 15th February.
There are eight events/disciplines in Scór that cover all aspects of Irish culture: 1. Rince Fóirne (Céilí Dancing) 2. Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing) 3. Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music) 4. Aithriseoirecht/Scealaíocht (Recitation/Storytelling) 5. Bailéad Ghrúpa (Ballad Group) 6. Nuachleas (Novelty Act) 7. Rince Seit (Set Dancing) 8. Tráth na gCeisteanna (Question Time)
The club will be represented in Recitation, and it is hoped to have representation in one or two further areas.
