Last night's annual road race, hosted by Bridevale Athletic Club, was a huge success.

With beautiful sunshine, the race was enjoyed by the runners and spectators who lined who lined the course.

An event of this scale cannot take place without a hardworking race Committee, as well as support from the local community so well done to all.

'On behalf of the Bridevale committee we would like to thank all the volunteers last night for their help to run our annual road race. From the beautiful baking, lovely sandwiches, all the stewards in all various roles, the team of tea ladies in the hall and registration. Without your help this race would not be possible and it’s a brilliant sign of a community to come together to help run this event. Again a heartfelt thank you to all' 🙏👏
