Denis Aherne and the pitch committee are meeting at 8.30pm tomorrow evening (Wed 18th) in Pynes.
Top priority will be training of volunteers to help irrigate the sand-based pitch during dry spells.
A rota will be developed to ensure the sprinkler system is put in operation each night during dry spells.
It is a 5-10 minute job, and having different people on each night helps to alleviate pressure on the few. 'Many hands make light work'
