Clearance Sale..

On Saturday the 25th of July, there will be a one-off clearance sale of very reasonably priced rain jackets, fleeces, hoodies and compression tops of various colours - all with the Bride Rovers crest - and sizes ranging from children 3/4 years to xxxl adults. The sale will take place at the club house from 11am to 12 noon only and all items must be paid for on the day.

U16 Inter County Camogie:

Congratulations to club player, Siobhan O’Sullivan, and the Cork U16A camogie team who beat Kilkenny on Sunday on a score of 5-8 to 3-12. Cork will now progress to the All-Ireland semi final on the 16th of August. Best of luck to Siobhan and the Cork team.

East Cork Minor League

Bride Rovers 5-15  Midleton 6-5

Our minors bounced back from defeat at Aghada to win their first points of the minor league at Pynes last Sunday. Our first half performance was good and the team worked hard to take a good lead into the break, 2-8 to 1-2. We stretched the lead to 12 points early in the second half and looked set to kick on but Midleton were given new hope when they got their second goal and cut the deficit to 9 points. Suddenly we came under pressure and conceded some more goals in rapid succession. Midleton were growing in confidence now and our lead was cut to 2 points with about 5 minutes left. Credit to our girls though who raised their game again and started winning possession again, particularly on the Midleton kick-outs. We scored the final 1-2 of the match to close it out. Well done to all the panel who now face Fermoy in the next round.

Clothes Collection:

First Friday collection of old clothes, shoes and handbags will be taken at the Community Centre on Friday August 7th from 7.30 to 8.00pm.
