Club Notes.. - 11/11/2019

County Premier 2 Hurling Championship

This Championship is beginning to take shape at long last. At present we are in the quarter final where we play Inniscarra or Aghabullogue.This is down for weekend November 23rd/24th.The other quarter final on our side of the draw is Mallow v Ballinhassig/Cloughduv and St Finbarr’s play Valley Rovers in the other semi Final.

Junior Hurling League Final

We qualified for the JHL Div. 2 Final a while back with a win over Midleton. We will be paying Midleton in the Final which is fixed for Sunday morning at 11.30 venue tbc

Junior C Hurling Championship

At the time of writing the East Cork Junior CHC Semi Final is fixed for Sunday next at 3pm but there may be changes so keep an eye on the club website and twitter and text service.

Car Boot Sale:

The next boot sale is on this coming Sunday the usual help is required.

Weekly Club Lotto:

Our club Lotto draw takes place every Tuesday night The numbers drawn on Tuesday Nov 5th were 10,18, 22,& 28 and there was no winner. The prizes of €30 went to Barrie Graham, Pat O Connor Corrin, John Dinneen, Noreen Hartnett, and Paddy Murphy. Play our Lotto online and join in the fundraising efforts for the club

Tickets for the Weekly Lotto cost just €2 each and can be purchased from Club members and in local business outlets. Tickets can also be purchased online at locallotto.ie ,we are very grateful to each and everyone who regularly supports the Weekly Lotto as the funds raised are vital for the day to day running of the Club. An Annual Lotto Ticket can also be purchased for €90.

Club AGM

The annual general meeting takes place on Monday Nov 25th in the old school at 8pm. All members are requested to attend this important meeting. East Cork Convention is on Dec 4th in Killeagh and County Convention in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday Dec 8th.

Senior A in 2020

The County Championship 2020 seems a long way away but the groupings and seeding’s will be done On Tuesday next Nov 19th in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. It’s all change now with 3 groups of 4 teams in the Senior A Championship. We will know who are in our group after this meeting.

SCOR.

The season for SCOR, the GAA talent competition is starting soon. First up is Scor na nOg for under 17 competitors. We are hoping and trying to get competitors for the East Cork Final in Lisgoold on November 30th for Singing, music, recitation, quiz and instrumental music.
